Ryanair, the largest low-budget airline in Europe, was the first to enter the Polish market. This Irish airline started operating in Lodz in October, 2005. The first flight on offer was from Lodz Wladyslaw Reymont Airport to London Stansted. Since then they have expanded their offer and it is possible to fly with Ryanair from Lodz to the United Kingdom (London Stansted and Nottingham) and to Ireland (Dublin, Shannon). Another no frill carrier available is the Centralwings which offers flights to France (Paris) and Italy (Rome). There are three flights to Paris and two flights to Rome weekly.
The exact information on all the flights on offer from/to Lodz Airport and the carriers can be found at: http://www.lotnisko.lodz.pl
